IMX series microscopes are similar in design to the MX series, but have a significantly larger stand for stability and a more robust construction. The stereohead can rotate 360° around the stand pole, giving greater flexibility for analysis purposes, and can be clamped in any preferred position. The inbuilt quartz halogen incident and transmitted illumination may be used together or independently. The angle of the incident illuminator is adjustable. All IMX models have a reversible black and white stage plate, plus frosted glass stage plate with blue filter for transmitted illumination. Focus tension adjustment, dioptric eyepiece adjustment, eyecups, dust cover and dissection plate come as standard. The IMXZ stereo head has double side arm zoom controls providing a continuous magnification range of x10-x40 as standard.
