Ion-specific meters provide a quick, precise and economical way of measuring ion concentrations. These lightweight portable meters have none of the problems associated with expensive ion selective electrodes, but instead rely on an advanced microprocessor and diode photocell to measure a single photometric parameter. Inexpensive reagents make the cost per test often less than traditional chemical test kits and considerably more accurate - typically +/-4%. All units feature a large LCD display and a battery life equivalent to at least 300 tests. Supplied with 2 cuvets, caps, 9v battery and instruction manual.
